Telephone Communications Inc (TCI) has an opening for a Part-Time Customer Service position. TCI is the leading low-voltage general contractor and IT services firm in Eastern Alabama. TCI is located in Anniston, AL and services a 60 mile radius around the Greater Calhoun, Etowah, Talladega, and St. Clair Counties Area. The position of Part-Time Customer Service is to be filled by a person who is honest, hard-working, team-oriented, and looking for employment longevity. Job Duties:

  • Communicate with customers to create and schedule service orders.

  • Maintains, updates, and tracks customer account and service order information in customer databases.

  • Resolves service order scheduling, time log, and parts entry problems by investigating data and history.

  • Create billing invoices upon service order completion and billing approval.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

  • Accomplishes department and organizational mission by completing related duties as needed.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in customer sales and/or service related environment preferred.

  • Associate degree or diploma helpful.
  • Customer focused.

  • Dependable and pay attention to detail.

  • Data entry and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute information and develop appropriate recommendations on a timely basis.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team to solve problems concisely and efficiently.

  • Self-dependent and self-developmental.

  • Strong ability to communicate, verbally and written, with technical and non-technical individuals.

 

Job Compensation:

Pay packages include a hourly pay rate based upon experience with regularly scheduled performance reviews, and a team-oriented work environment that gives you the opportunity to make a difference every day.
